The Art of Vase Making: Behind the Scenes at Our Workshop

Ever wondered what goes into the making of our stunning vases? Each piece you see is the result of an intricate process that blends artistic vision with masterful craftsmanship. In this post, we’ll take you behind the scenes of our workshop, where raw materials are transformed into beautiful home decor.

Our journey begins with a concept. Designers sketch ideas, inspired by nature, architecture, and contemporary art. Once we have a concept we’re excited about, it’s time to get our hands dirty. Clay is carefully selected for its texture and durability. The vases are then shaped, either hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel or carefully sculpted by hand, depending on the design.

Next comes the drying process, where each piece is left to air dry for several days. Once dried, the vases are fired in kilns at high temperatures, hardening them and preparing them for the next stage: glazing. Our artists meticulously hand-paint glazes onto each vase, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.

The final step is a second firing to set the glaze, revealing the vase’s true colors and textures. The result? A one-of-a-kind piece of art, ready to find its place in your home.
